IAAF World Indoor Championships - 1st – 4th March 2018 @ Birmingham Arena

This is the second time Birmingham is hosting the IAAF World Indoor Championships, which sees over 400 athletes from nearly 150 countries competing. Team GB managed seven medals in 2003 when Birmingham last hosted and are expected to top it this year, so don’t miss out and pick up your tickets here!

Crufts – 8th – 11th March 2018 @ the NEC

The world’s greatest dog show is back! With 22,000 dogs competing for Best in Show and over 500 stands for you and your tail wagging best friend, this historical show is a must for all dog lovers. Seven different breeds over 4 days make for a perfect weekend for you and the whole family.

St Patricks Parade – 11th March 2018 @ Digbeth High Street

Join the thousands of people celebrating this annual Irish festival, with a two hour parade starting on Digbeth High Street at 12noon. This spectacle celebrates diversity and all the cultures within Birmingham, with lots of dancing and singing, with performances from Irish dancers to Chinese dragons. Join the onlookers and perhaps even treat yourself to a Guinness or two!

The Photography Show – 17th – 20th March 2018 @ the NEC

This annual show is perfect for every photography fanatic. The NEC hosts the four day event yet again, giving you the chance to access masterclasses from some of the best known names in the business as well as getting your hands on the latest technology. Learn about or top up your knowledge on the newest technological advancements in drones or take your moving image skills to the next step with the super stage sessions supported by some of the most iconic photographers in the world.

Sigrid – 18th March 2018 @ Birmingham O2

Don’t miss the BBC’s 2018 Music Sound Award winner in Birmingham this March. At just 21 the Norwegian singer songwriter is best known for her hits ‘Don’t Kill My Vibe’ and ‘Strangers’, both of which charted in Norway, Australia and the United Kingdom.  Enjoy a night of good music and feel good performances from Sigrid and her supporting act, Fred Well, in her first ever tour.

Paloma Faith – 21st March 2018 @ Genting Arena 

This now household name is touring once again and hits Birmingham’s Genting Arena on the 21st February. After her last three albums made it to double platinum, ‘The Architect’ has been long awaited, with notable co-writers on the album – Sia, John Legend, Jessie Shatkin and Rag ‘n’ Bone man – just to name a few, adding to the anticipation. Along with her classics ‘Only Love Can Hurt Like This’, ‘Picking Up The Pieces’ and ‘Never Tear Us Apart’, this tour is set to be her best one yet and is not to be missed.

Disney on Ice - 28th March – 1st April @ Genting Arena

Escape with the whole family to this enchanting show that visits four different worlds within the magical Disney universe, including the Scandinavian frost from Disney’s Frozen, Ariel’s underwater realm from The Little Mermaid, Andy’s bedroom within Toy Story 3 and even see Disney Pixar’s Radiator Springs from Cars.
